There is much to be grateful for every day, but November tends to turn our minds toward gratitude more than any other month. Today we want to take time to express our gratitude for those who’ve served to protect our country—our military veterans. If you or a family member served in our armed forces, please accept our sincerest thanks for your selfless contributions in safeguarding the United States.
November is also a time we set aside to observe National American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month! It is a time to honor the vibrant culture of the Native people, as well as recognize the challenges they still face today. This November will also mark the one-year anniversary of the National Native American Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. You can read more about this memorial below in Simply Good.
In the workplace, we often encounter well-meaning CEOs, VPs, team leaders, and others who want to do what is right but don’t know how. The “Why of DEI?” is a course that seeks to help leaders find the tools and language to become authentic leaders—who do what they say they will do. Learn more about our new course and why it is important in this month’s Simply Diversity.
