Sonya is passionate about supporting organizations to lead transformational change. We have to do better to achieve work environments where everyone feels a sense of belonging. She loves traveling, eating popcorn, and fostering rescue kittens as they transition to finding their forever home.

Sonya Kaleel (she / her / hers) is the Founder and DEI Strategist at The Inclusion Practice. With 30 years in learning and leadership development, she supports organizations in cultivating equitable spaces, leading transformational change, and developing as inclusive leaders. She has coached individuals and teams in Fortune 500 companies and nonprofits on a range of DEI topics that move us from awareness to understanding to accountability.

Sonya is certified in the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), Clifton Strengths Finder by Gallup, GlobeSmart Profile, Global Competencies Inventory (GCI) and the Hogan Leadership Series. She is adjunct faculty for the Leading Equity & Inclusion in Organizations at Northwestern University. She holds an MS in Learning & Organizational Change from Northwestern.
