Summer news & updates

Hello!

If you didn’t read our last issue, we won’t hold it against you (this time). Big changes are coming for the Rework Work newsletter. Beginning in July, the newly-dubbed Rework Workspace will be your bi-weekly resource for bridging the gap between DEI concepts and actual, concrete changes in your workplace. Each issue will focus on a tool or resource we’ve designed to facilitate the incremental changes required to make a whole, inclusive work environment. Our first issue will focus on my DEI Champion Toolbox, specifically designed to equip and empower leaders to interrupt biases and exclusion in their organizations.

If you’re a regular reader of my LinkedIn newsletter, you’ve probably noticed that Simply Diversity also has a new iteration. Lead with Inclusion is now the place to find my straight-up, no-holds-barred insight into creating a diverse and inclusive work culture, but with a sharper focus on helping your intentions turn into impactful action. Whether you’re a manager aiming to be a more inclusive leader, or an employee ready to champion DEI in your workplace, Lead with Inclusion is a weekly resource that can help get you there. In case you missed it, the last two issues focused on your LinkedIn network and what it says about you as well as my thoughts on Juneteenth speaking engagements. It’s a quick read to make sure your organization doesn’t make the same mistake.

Keep an eye on your inbox – Rework Workspace (and more details about the DEI Champion Toolbox) is coming soon!

With appreciation,

Stacey Gordon, MBA
Rework Work CEO

Lead with Inclusion: Inclusive Actions at Work with Stacey Gordon
Today, Stacey will have the opportunity to discuss diversity, equity, and inclusion with more than 600 Sun Life Financial brokers. Her webinar, entitled, “Unconscious Inclusion: A Solution to Exclusion,” will cover the role individuals play in creating inclusion, and how we can impact equity in our teams, our departments, and in our workplace culture. Attendees will also gain actionable strategies they can utilize and pass on to help clients on their own DEI journeys.
If you, or your clients, could benefit from working with Stacey, we’d love to hear from you.
