Hello!
As we step into 2025, I hope you’re feeling recharged from the holiday season and ready for the fresh opportunities this year brings! At Rework Work, we’re energized and ready to dive into another year of helping you create workplaces where individuals and teams can truly thrive.
To kick things off on a high note, I’m excited to share some personal news: I’ve joined the California State Council of SHRM board as Workforce Readiness Director. Later this month, I’ll attend my first board meeting, and I’m eager to contribute to CalSHRM’s mission of connecting, supporting, and serving the people and workplaces of California.
There’s something special about the energy of a new year – it brings a sense of renewal and possibility. For some, it’s a time to set bold intentions and ambitious goals. For others, the idea of resolutions can feel overwhelming or even unwelcome. Wherever you fall on this spectrum, I encourage you: don’t let 2025 pass without taking meaningful action on the changes you’ve been longing to see.
As you take stock of your goals – especially those tied to your workplace – let me ask you a few honest questions:
- As you return to work after the holidays, does your environment feel as fulfilling as it could be?
- Just one week in, are you already feeling drained by a team that struggles to communicate or collaborate effectively?
- Does your workplace feel stuck in patterns of dysfunction, whether subtle or obvious?
If any of these resonate with you, I challenge you to reflect on what kind of change you want to see in your workplace – and in yourself.
2025 can be the year you finally find a solution.
Start small: take our free D.E.I. Quiz to uncover opportunities for growth in your workplace. Or go bigger: explore how our Unconscious Inclusion The Work Beyond The Workshop™ program (learn more below) can create lasting transformation for you and your team.
Remember that progress doesn’t happen overnight, but it does start with intentional steps. Don’t let another year slip by without taking action on the changes you want to see!
